Center for Hispanic Leadership to Support Programs to Advance Hispanic Talent

Institute for Talent Development Addresses the Essential Needs of Hispanics in the Workplace

(January 18, 2010, Irvine, CA)  The Center for Hispanic Leadership (CHL), Institute for Talent Development has announced its 2010 curriculum programs to help corporations advance their Hispanic employees in the workplace.  "Our mission is to empower the professional growth and talent development of Hispanic Employees through the use of culturally-tailored curriculum that helps accelerate the awareness and unique skill-set potential of Hispanics in the workplace," says CHL Founder / President, Glenn Llopis.    "Over the past two years, CHL has carefully researched corporate diversity programs and have engaged with Hispanic professionals to best understand their needs and how their inherent talent can reach its full potential in the workplace."    We have identified the six core characteristics that define Hispanic Talent (learn more at www.CenterforHispanicLeadership.com).   Our 2010 curriculum programs will focus on training Hispanic professionals, at all levels, to help them reach mastery of these six core characteristics as they have proven to accelerate Hispanic Talent development and workplace acculturation for the betterment of a healthy whole."

CHL's 2010 curriculum programs will serve to unite, empower and expand Hispanic Talent potential and contributions in the workplace.  These programs will include (but are not limited to):  The Hispanic Professional, Making Opportunity Matter; The Hispanic Manager: Utilizing Your Hispanic Talent to Create New Opportunities for Success; and The Hispanic Executive:  Transforming Organizational Growth While Leaving a Legacy.   With a growing demand for training and the leadership acceleration for Hispanic professionals in the workplace, CHL has created multiple platforms to deliver its curriculum programs.     According to Llopis, "our goal is to make individuals and corporations  comfortable with our curriculum programs by delivering it across multiple formats that can be tested, measured and improved upon."   CHL formats will include, onsite training/workshops, online learning, keynote speaking, and coaching.

The demand for Hispanic Talent Development amongst Human Resource Executives is on the rise.  Now that Hispanics represent the majority-minority in the United States, corporations have realized that in order to most effectively recruit, retain and sustain Hispanic employees, they must begin to offer culturally-tailored professional development programs.   As corporations work toward building relationships with the Hispanic workforce, expanding their authenticity by offering Hispanic Talent Development programs is critical toward building trust and long term loyalty.  "The development of Hispanic Talent in the workplace is our social responsibility, says Llopis.   At CHL, we seek to help empower the development of Hispanic Leaders  so that they can play a greater role in propelling economic growth in the United States and throughout the global market landscape."
